Danielle & Mason // Three Hills Barn Wedding Photography

If you asked me what my favourite kind of wedding is, it would always have to be a barn wedding. There’s something about rustic and ‘wild’ that I absolutely adore, so when Danielle and Mason asked me to be their wedding photographer at the gorgeous Three Hills Barn in Torpenhow (pronouced Trapenah by the way.. we’re in Cumbria and we don’t do anything by the book!), I was over the moon!

My gorgeous bride and groom were married at undoubtably one of the most picturesque churches in the Lake District, St Bega’s, just a tiny stroll away from Bassenthwaite Lake. Goes without saying that we wandered down after the service to grab some cosy shots of the two of them by the lake, dodging the sheep (and sheep poo..) on our walk.

Party time was back at Three Hills Barn, and a really chilled out afternoon with drinks, a few group shots, and lots of laughter. Side-splitting speeches, ceilidh dancing, a hog roast, and exquisite chocolate brownies, and then a wander in the fields… PERFECT!

Sometimes I have to pinch myself that I actually have this job!

Danielle and Mason, thank you for allowing me (and my ever faithful second shooter Alex), to be a part of your day. We loved every minute.
