Andrew and Sarah are lucky enough to live in beautiful Keswick, so where better to hold their wedding than in the heart of the Lake District - Thornthwaite Church followed by The Flight Park, Braithwaite, a gorgeous intimate venue surrounded by rolling hills and the odd cow pat.. as Sarah soon found out!

I met Sarah and the girls at their home in Keswick on the morning of the wedding, and Alex met Andrew and his son and Best Man Matthew shortly before heading off for a mountain bike ride in Whinlatter Forest, one of the many outdoor activities that they both absolutely love to do. I’m guessing there are few better ways to distract from the nerves of speeches than to burn off some energy on a bike, along with gorgeous dog Lucy!

Sarah and Andrew’s ceremony was beautiful - these guys have definitely got it right the second time around. You just know they’re absolutely head over heels in love, you can see it and you can feel it when you’re with them. It was wonderful to see not only Andrew and Sarah’s bond, but the real friendship and love between the families, especially Andrew and Sarah’s children. You can’t choose your family, but I’m fairly certain that if you could, they’d choose each other as close friends - it’s just all so meant to be, and I’m soppy enough to believe in all that!

It was the perfect Lake District Wedding, and a pleasure to be a part of from start to finish.
